We believe every child deserves the chance to grow stronger, healthier, and more confident.

Spokane area elementary schools lack funding for after-school sports. Cross country is affordable, inclusive, and proven to support academic and social growth — but without support, it’s out of reach for thousands of kids.
Active4Youth fills that gap. We bring full cross country programs — curriculum, coaching, and races — to schools at no cost.
Students in our program show improved attendance, better grades, and higher self-confidence.
We currently serve over 5,500 kids each year across three school districts.
For many kids, what starts as a simple after-school program becomes a turning point.
Kids build confidence, realize what they’re capable of, and carry those lessons forward. The impact lasts well beyond the fall season, shaping habits that stay with them for life.
Throughout the year, several community races generously share a portion of their proceeds with Active4Youth. While we don’t organize these events ourselves, participating in them is a fun way to stay active and support our mission. Below, you’ll find a few races that benefit Active4Youth—sign up, lace up, and make a difference!
